This position performs analysis of data, dashboard preparation, visualization based on reporting requirements, data validation testing, data modeling, and data replication. This position also evaluates functional and technical specifications to fulfill data requirements for key initiatives/projects. Independently develops test plans, validation requirements and documentation to ensure data integrity for analysis and report requests.

Requirements

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field.
  • All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Power BI, MS SQL, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio, Access), and query tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in technical and user-friendly manner, adaptability to changing priorities. Must have the ability to collaborate and work in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Any prior experience in data analysis would be desirable.
  • Related major preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean and organize financial and non-financial data using a variety of tools;
  • Ensure data quality through review and validation with source material;
  • Analyze both qualitative and quantitative data;
  • Ability and temperament to learn and apply new data analytics technologies such as Power BI, Snowflake, Tableau, MS-SQL, data warehousing and data modeling concepts
  • Assist with financial, statistical, and econometric analysis;
  • Other projects may be assigned on an as-needed basis.
  • Ability to maintain compliance with data governance and protocols through all processes.
  • Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner.
