Requirements

  • Current undergraduate student with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2028.
  • Track record of outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • Able to adapt to a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to apply quantitative skills and discernment to airline industry.
  • Strong customer service mindset.
  • Willingness to help with additional work/projects as assigned.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship now and in the future.
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as advocates for our customers, inflight and flight ops teams in the NOC.
  • Assist with diversions, irregular operations rebooking, customer compensation, policy support to stations, and secure needed crew hotels and transportation.
  • Work to resolve issues before, during and after they occur, provide customer outreach, send messaging via digital channels, and monitor social conversations in real-time for potential engagements.
  • Ensure a positive premium amenity experience from United lounges to Global services program, and tarmac transportation program.
  • Analyze current processes and look for opportunities to increase team efficiencies.
  • Look for ways to leverage technology and/or automation to drive improvements.
  • Evaluate potential reporting metrics to quantify impact of teams.
