About The Position

Are you interested in an Internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) degree to participate in 3 month paid intern opportunities at our site in Cambridge Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company. Your role: Contribute to the achievement of daily, monthly, and quarterly KPIs by supporting the Sales team and collaborating on initiatives that enhance customer productivity. Leverage CRM tools to document outreach activities, account plans, follow-up actions, and notes on leads and opportunities. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Philips’ product portfolio and competitive landscape to craft creative solutions and support territory strategy development and execution. Partner with aligned sales representatives to co-create and implement strategic sales plans tailored to customer needs and market dynamics. Identify opportunities to expand Philips’ offerings to new customers while increasing awareness and interest in the broader product portfolio; share emerging trends with Sales and Business stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer challenges and streamline internal processes for improved efficiency. Develop and deliver a capstone project that reflects your contributions and growth throughout the internship, presented to our leadership team as a highlight of your final week.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field; minimum GPA of 3.0 required.
  • Demonstrates a confident and engaging phone presence, capable of handling inbound inquiries, making outbound cold calls, and collaborating effectively with internal teams.
  • Skilled in persuasive communication to uncover customer needs, build rapport with key decision-makers, and drive interest in Philips solutions.
  • Able to assess customer requirements and recommend appropriate Philips products and services to meet their goals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams); experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce is a plus but not required.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.
  • For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Cambridge.
