About The Position

Sephora Internships provide an inclusive and comprehensive experience that equips young professionals with the tools needed to align their passions with work. The 10-week internship program develops early career professionals by providing interns with hands-on learning, personal and professional networking opportunities, and the ability to work on projects that directly impact the business. The Sephora internship program is also a prerequisite for consideration for LEAP, the cross-functional rotational program that provides on-the-job training in each of three Business Units-Supply Chain, Marketing, and Merchandising, over the course of nine months. LEAP prepares successfully performing trainees for a full-time, entry-level role in one of the three Business Units. Interns are invited to apply to LEAP at the beginning of the summer internship.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for using technology to solve business challenges in customer service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and data analysis techniques.
  • Ability to develop reports and track performance metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze AI effectiveness: Evaluate the performance of Sephora's AI-powered contact management tool and identify areas for improvement.
  • Refine AI guides and prompts: Ensure that the AI accurately addresses client inquiries, escalates to human agents appropriately, and follows outlined procedures.
  • Utilize AI for ad hoc analyses: Use Sephora's AI-powered insights tool to uncover factors driving client contacts and evaluate the impact of agent behaviors on handle time and satisfaction.
  • Develop reports: Create reports in the contact management tool to track AI performance.
  • Collaborate with various departments: Work closely with different teams to enhance the Customer Service experience through AI optimization and analysis.
