The SRI Center for Health Sciences is looking for an Intern to join our team! The Intern will help with data collection from participants in lab projects. The main project will be the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) Study. The NIH-sponsored ABCD Study is a multi-site nationwide study following 10,000 children for 10 years. It is the largest study to date to examine factors (e.g., sleep, physical activity, stress, trauma, substance use) that influence child and adolescent neurodevelopment. If you’re looking to get experience in a lab conducting cutting-edge research, apply here! Interns working on projects in the lab will get experience with clinical interviews, neuropsychological and cognitive testing, collecting bioassays (e.g., hormone levels, DNA samples), and multi-modal MRI scans. The position involved working some evenings and weekends, depending on scheduling of participants. The Intern will work onsite in our Menlo Park, CA office. Ideally we are looking for someone who can start right away and wants to work year round while in school.
