Requirements

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program studying Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

Minimum 3.0 GPA.
Strong fundamental understanding of investment casting manufacturing process for single crystal nickel based superalloys.

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise in investment casting process, supporting process and manufacturing engineers in the Rapid Prototype Casting Laboratory.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify paths to increase casting yield and quality.
Identify and manage risk using lean tools to propose risk management solutions.
Provide analysis and develop recommendations for corrective actions due to process failures.
Disseminate research results through verbal and written communications, including internal reports and presentations.
