Intern Capex Projects
About The Position
As a Capex Project Intern, you’ll support Project Managers in delivering utility projects that meet design, budget, and schedule goals. You will gain hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle—from early design through handover to Operations and Maintenance—and contribute to the successful execution of capital projects. In this role, you will: Work closely with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure project quality, safety, and client satisfaction Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to maintain alignment on technical requirements, field conditions, and project priorities Maintain project schedules and support progress updates to keep teams coordinated Assist with budget tracking and reporting to help monitor project performance Support development and review of construction drawings and technical documentation and learn Microsoft Project and Bluebeam Participate in procurement activities, including materials coordination and supplier contract management, to ensure the smooth flow of materials, services, and information
Requirements
- Must be a current sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
