This full-time, 3-month internship supports the Global Commercial Excellence team, focusing on Marketing Enablement and Market Intelligence & Information Services. Key responsibilities include supporting the development and adoption of best-in-class marketing practices, tools, and frameworks, as well as delivering high-quality market intelligence, competitive insights, and information services to internal stakeholders. The role also supports process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives, including SharePoint enhancements and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) updates. This internship provides hands-on exposure to strategy development, global marketing operations, market research, secondary data analysis, and knowledge management within a global healthcare organization operating in over 150 countries.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program at an accredited U.S. college or university in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills required
  • Proficiency in other Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Teams, Word)
  • Ability to structure information clearly and summarize key insights
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare, medical devices, life sciences, or pharmaceuticals a plus
  • Basic understanding of market research, competitive intelligence, or process documentation.
  • Experience with process mapping or SOP documentation is a plus
  • Strong familiarity with SharePoint or document management systems is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain standardized marketing templates, playbooks, and tools that promote consistency, quality, and best practices across the organization.
  • Support the Marketing Center of Excellence by coordinating culture, connection, and capability workstream meetings and executing assigned deliverables.
  • Monitor social media platforms within targeted markets and develop market activity summaries to enhance market awareness and influence strategy and marketing campaigns.
  • Support secondary market research activities, including data collection, structuring, and summarization of findings.
  • Assist in competitive intelligence monitoring, such as tracking competitor activities, market developments, and industry news.
  • Support preparation of market overviews, trend summaries, and basic analysis under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Support the organization, maintenance, and continuous improvement of internal knowledge repositories and SharePoint.
  • Assist with routine team activities and ad hoc analytical or operational tasks across multiple projects.
  • Assist with literature and publication searches across scientific, medical, and market related sources.
  • Help ensure proper documentation of sources and data accuracy.
  • Support the review and update of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Assist in documenting current processes, workflows, and tools in a clear and structured manner.
  • Help ensure SOPs are aligned with current practices and stored correctly in designated repositories.
