About The Position

As a Business Operations Intern, you will play a key supporting role across our Sales, Marketing, and Product teams, with a focus on our staff scheduling software solution. You will contribute to Account-Based Marketing (ABM) efforts by researching and identifying top prospect executives and target accounts, confirming key contacts, and supporting Business Development Representative (BDR) efforts. Additionally, you will conduct ongoing market research by sourcing white papers and monitoring industry publications such as Becker's and Fierce Health to identify staffing trends, competitive positioning, and relevant news, helping build a structured, recurring cadence of industry insights that keeps our sales team informed and equipped with fresh, organized intelligence. You will also provide go-to-market support for our scheduling solution initiatives, assisting the project team with research and development of key finding for marketing materials. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of sales enablement, marketing strategy, and healthcare workforce technology and working closely with experienced leaders and contributing meaningfully to real business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Ability to quickly learn tools such as ZoomInfo, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and sales engagement platforms
  • Comfortable supporting contact research, data entry, and outreach tracking within CRM systems
  • Ability to conduct research and summarize findings into clear, actionable insights
  • Capable of identifying trends across competitor content, industry publications, and market data
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to create professional, polished content
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
  • Strong attention to detail when handling prospect data and research documentation
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while seeking guidance when needed
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams
  • Receptive to feedback with a willingness to learn and continuously improve

Responsibilities

  • Research key decision-makers within target accounts aligned to Ideal Buyer Persona (IBP) profiles
  • Use prospecting tools to find, verify, and maintain accurate contact data
  • Support outreach campaigns led by Sales team members and Business Development Representatives (BDRs)
  • Monitor industry publications (e.g., Becker’s, Fierce Healthcare) for relevant trends and insights
  • Identify and organize articles, reports, and white papers related to healthcare staffing challenges
  • Track competitor messaging and contribute to recurring “In the News” updates for the sales team
  • Research new target markets and segments to support go-to-market strategy
  • Assist in developing go-to-market materials aligned with brand guidelines
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to ensure consistent messaging and positioning
