Receives direction from clinical and research project leads (e.g., biostatisticians, bioinformaticians, data scientists, principal investigators), and faculty Biostatisticians in the department. Works collaboratively with other work units internal and external to the Department of Quantitative Health Sciences including Statistical Programmers, other Research and Clinical Support Staff, and Information Technology Staff. Is accountable to multidisciplinary teams and external research groups. Maintains an effective collaborative relationship with project team members. Supports project team needs under the direction of project leads. Applies knowledge and techniques in data management (e.g., data integrity and preparation), programming (e.g., data manipulation), statistics and/or bioinformatics (e.g., data analysis and summarization), and workflow management to accomplish research tasks. Familiarity with programming languages and techniques is required. Seeks educational opportunities and shares knowledge within teams to enhance professional development.
