About The Position

Responsibilities
API Inventory & Risk Assessment
Assist in identifying and inventorying enterprise APIs. Support security reviews to identify vulnerabilities and misconfigurations. Evaluate APIs against OWASP API Top 10 guidance.

Governance & Controls
Help define and validate API security policies and controls. Review authentication and authorization implementations. Track remediation efforts and posture improvements.

Documentation & Reporting
Document findings, risk reports, and remediation recommendations. Support implementation of API monitoring and security tooling.

What You’ll Gain

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, and JSON.
• Awareness of authentication concepts (OAuth, tokens).
• Interest in governance and security risk management.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to API gateways, WAFs, or security scanning tools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
