The intern will focus on integrating a neural network–based software component into an existing prototype vehicle platform. The internship offers hands-on experience in deploying artificial intelligence–based algorithms into a real-time vehicle environment and interfacing them with vehicle sensors and software systems.

Requirements

  • Strong programming skills in C++ and/or Python.
  • Experience with Linux-based development environments.
  • GPU inference fundamentals (batching, precision, memory bandwidth/ latency basics)
  • Understanding of and experience with integrating VLMs
  • Practical experience with Hugging Face Transformers and model exports (ONNX, TRT)
  • Knowledge of Nvidia deployment tools and libraries such as Cuda, TensorRT, TensorRT-LLM

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ROS or ROS2 framework is a plus.
  • Experience with robotics or autonomous driving software frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate vision-language models into the prototype vehicle software stack on NVIDIA automotive compute platforms.
  • Optimize model inference for real-time performance using NVIDIA deployment toolchains (for example, CUDA, TensorRT, and TensorRT for large language models).
  • Implement and maintain software interfaces between the model runtime and vehicle sensors, logging, and downstream consumers.
  • Develop benchmarking, testing, and validation workflows; document integration steps and performance results.
