Mission Support revenue growth in Kargo’s Emerging & South regions by mapping addressable markets, preparing sellers for high-impact meetings, and enabling Sales and Client Services teams to operate efficiently and effectively. The summer internship program runs for 10 weeks from June 3 to August 9. All internship positions are paid. This will be a full-time internship with up to 40 hours a week from Monday through Friday with the expectation of 4x in the office.

Requirements

  • Enjoys research, preparation, and turning information into clear insights
  • Communicates clearly and professionally with teammates at all levels
  • Takes ownership of work and can be trusted to prepare materials independently
  • Learns quickly, adapts to new information, and asks thoughtful questions
  • Is genuinely interested in advertising, media, and how brands grow through insight and execution
  • Strong research skills, including synthesizing: Company and industry news Advertiser activity and market signals Earnings reports and investor commentary (when relevant)
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to summarize information into concise, actionable insights
  • Proficiency with Excel / Google Sheets and PowerPoint / Google Slides
  • Comfort learning new tools, processes, and terminology quickly

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Prior coursework or exposure to business, marketing, media, analytics, or sales

Responsibilities

  • Research and map addressable markets across the Emerging & South regions
  • Identify potential advertisers based on: Industry and business news Brand launches, funding announcements, and expansions Competitive and category-level activity
  • Build and maintain prioritized target account lists aligned to seller focus areas surrounding brands and media agencies.
  • Prepare pre-meeting account briefs for upcoming client and prospect meetings, including: Account background and advertising history Recent company news and strategic updates Earnings reports and relevant financial insights Competitive landscape and category context
  • Surface relevant insights and talking points to help sellers tailor conversations
  • Support sellers with: Pre-meeting preparation materials and slides Prospect research and outreach preparation Post-meeting notes and follow-up documentation
  • Assist with CRM updates, account notes, and pipeline hygiene to ensure shared context across teams
  • Partner with Client Services teams to understand how campaigns move from sale to execution
  • Learn how client goals translate into: Campaign setup Optimization Reporting and insights
  • Support internal coordination through documentation, notes, and basic tracking
  • Gain exposure to how Sales and Client Services collaborate to deliver successful advertiser outcomes
  • Attend Sales and Client Services meetings; capture and synthesize key takeaways
  • Assist with internal reporting, trackers, and documentation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Client Services, and Revenue Operations teams
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely, accurate follow-through
