The Information Assurance Specialist, Intermediate provides essential expertise in ensuring the security and compliance of PM PNT systems throughout their lifecycle for the Program Manager of Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PM PNT). Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related scientific or technical discipline, with five (5) years of related experience. OR
  • Four (4) years of military service with five (5) years of related experience.
  • TS/SCI Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • DoD 8140 and Security +, CISSP, CISM, CAP CeH or equivalent certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates closely with engineering teams to integrate security best practices and navigate the complex landscape of federal cybersecurity regulations.
  • Assist in the implementation of RMF processes, supporting the preparation of documentation required for Authority to Operate (ATO) submissions.
  • Perform vulnerability scans, analyzing results, and assisting with the development of Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms). Focus will be on maintaining accurate records within security management tools (e.g., eMASS, XACTA) and supporting the continuous monitoring process.
  • Contribute to the review of documentation for compliance with DoD, Agency, and Army policies and regulations, under the guidance of senior personnel.
