About The Position

As a Cook Helper at Borgata, you will be responsible for having a solid understanding of food products while creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests with your friendly smile and attentive service. By connecting with them and recognizing their unique stories and needs, you'll take ownership of their experience, crafting WOW moments and lasting memories that they will cherish long after their visit.

Requirements

Required to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
6+ Months of basic food preparation experience

Responsibilities

Ensure requisitions are processed properly and placed in designated area
Maintain solid knowledge of food products
Identify and safely use kitchen equipment
Regularly run for food and restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service
Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation
Assist the pantry worker, cook, master cook and chef as needed in execution of service
Work as a team, assist guests and employees with their needs and inquiries
Perform other job-related duties as requested
