About The Position

Patt Co. Design is hiring a Residential Interior Designer in Moline, IL to lead kitchen, bath, and whole-home remodeling projects. This role focuses on space planning, kitchen and bath design, material selections, and construction-ready design documentation for residential remodels. The Interior Designer will work closely with homeowners, project managers, and trade partners to deliver functional, beautiful designs from concept through construction. The Role As our Interior Designer, you’ll be the creative and client-focused heart of every project. You’ll guide clients from inspiration to reality, ensuring each remodel reflects their vision and our commitment to craftsmanship. You’ll collaborate with project managers, trades, and vendors to bring seamless, functional, and beautiful designs to life.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of residential remodeling design experience (kitchen and bath design preferred)
  • Strong experience with space planning and construction documentation
  • Proficiency in Chief Architect and Canva (JobTread experience a plus)
  • Confident, professional client-facing skills with the ability to lead design discussions
  • Strong organization, communication, and project coordination skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, trades, and vendors

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to understand project goals, design preferences, and vision
  • Create space plans, mood boards, conceptual designs, and 3D renderings
  • Develop material selections and finish schedules for residential remodels
  • Prepare and maintain detailed design documentation, drawings, and specifications
  • Coordinate with vendors and trade partners to source materials and support execution
  • Support the estimator in developing budgets and design & development agreements
  • Host trade walk meetings and participate in pre-construction and milestone reviews
  • Visit job sites to review progress, ensure design fidelity, and collaborate with the project team
  • Partner closely with project managers and production teams throughout construction
