About The Position

Design and develop interior and related projects and provide interior design for various miscellaneous and in-house designed projects. Collaborate with a diverse group of departments and committees throughout Mayo to analyze proponents needs, goals, and life safety requirements. Help provide information to contractors and outside vendors on interior design issues. Assist with the enhancement of the function and quality of interior spaces while maintaining and monitoring existing building standards as identified by Facilities Services and approved by Committees. Must have good working knowledge of applicable codes. Must be proficient in computer operating systems, AutoCAD and Revit CAP and Microsoft software. Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Fine Art, Interior Architecture, Art History, or Architecture and minimum five years design experience.Experience with the design process including programming, schematics, design development and construction documents. Must possess strong interpersonal skills. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to define, prioritize and achieve specific goals and objectives with leadership competencies that include professionalism, honesty, vision, planning and team building. Must be able to work in a team as well as independently. Must be able to work with a wide range of personalities and challenging situations. Must be able to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously and efficiently with minimal direction. Relevant design experience in health care.Prefer experience and preparation to achieve future state appropriate license and NCIDQ certification (MN, WI, AZ, FL) as applicable. This vacancy is not eligible for sponsorship/ we will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position. Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.

Requirements
