About The Position

Licensed Vocational Nurse - Interim Position  Are you passionate about providing exceptional care and support to seniors?  Are you a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)?  Do you possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for others?  Would you like to collaborate with an Executive Director that is also an LVN and understands the nursing perspective?  If so, we have an exciting temporary opportunity for you! We are seeking a dynamic and experienced LVN / Nurse to join our team in an interim role.  Our current Assisted Living Director is stepping into an interim Executive Director role, and we are looking for nursing support for the Assisted Living and Memory Support Departments during the temporary assignment.  The expected length of the assignment is through mid-May.   You’ll work alongside our Memory Support Director, also a nurse, and our Team Operations Director.  Our Team Operations Director oversees scheduling and onboarding of all care team staff and the direct supervision of all care partners.

Requirements

  • Licensed Vocational Nurse with a valid Colorado nursing license.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing residential care to the elderly or similar experience with specialized dementia care programs.
  • Strong knowledge of Colorado regulatory requirements and best practices in senior care.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Compassionate and resident-centered approach to care, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of seniors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer two (2) years’ experience supervising care teams or running a similar sized department.
  • Proficiency in Point, Click, Care (PCC) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining regulatory compliance and upholding the highest standards of care.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Assisted Living Neighborhood, including budgeting and resident admissions.
  • Supervise QMAPs providing training and guidance needed to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and residents to develop personalized care plans and address individual needs.
  • Maintain open communication with residents, families and stakeholders, addressing concerns and fostering a sense of community.
