About The Position

Warehouse work involving shipping and receiving alcoholic beverage cases and related items in a central warehouse for the Division of Liquor Control using a computerized warehouse management system. Specific duties will vary according to assignment, and typically include operating a forklift or order picker, counting and inventory control, loading 40-50ln cases of product, packing split cases, performing stage audits, occasional special order delivery, setting up agency stores and other duties. Incumbents preferably should possess a valid driver's license. Incumbents are required, on a daily basis, to pick 600-1000 cases of liquor from stacked warehouse stock and to lift, by hand, boxes weighing 40-55 pounds.
