Interim Elementary Principal (February-June 2026) School: Forest Park Elementary School Can you lead a building where everyone is welcome, appreciated, and respected? Our partnership with the Macomb Intermediate School District (MISD), Michigan Department of Education (MDE), and the University of Virginia’s Partners for Leaders in Education (UVA-PLE) has created a unique opportunity for rapid district turnaround. Part of our continued growth and improvement involves increasing educational expectations, developing a culture of support, and nurturing all students to address academic, behavioral, and interpersonal needs. Requirements
- Masters in Educational Administration or related field
- State of Michigan School Administrative Certification, or in process
- Previous experience as a Principal, Assistant Principal or other school leadership position preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of classroom teaching experience
- Successful record of school turnaround leadership
