About The Position

Are you a seasoned Registered Nurse (RN) Manager with experience in managing a rural Critical Access Hospital (CAH)? Trinity Health invites you to join our FirstChoice Mobile Resource Pool as an Interim Leader. FirstChoice Leaders play a vital role in filling interim leadership positions within our extensive healthcare system spanning across the nation. LOCATION: MercyOne Dyersville Medical Center, Dyersville, IA. START: ASAP WEEKS: 13 HOURS: 5x8 Gross Weekly Rate: $4400.00 Non-Benefited Position What You Will Do: Provides operations & / or optimization leadership focus; Directs clinical specialty (patient-facing) department(s) / area(s) or specialty non-clinical (non-patient facing) department(s) / area(s); May provide leadership & direction through managers; Balances between staff leadership, broader organizational direction & administration; Accountable for the performance, regulatory readiness & results of a single large, strategic area / related disciplines or multiple small to medium-sized departments / areas / clinics in a small to medium-sized single functional domain within a limited geography.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Master’s degree is required within five (5) years of hire, with continuous enrollment in a relevant graduate program documented.
  • Current Iowa RN license, (MercyOne Genesis - current Registered Nurse (RN) license in either Iowa or Illinois is required at the time of hire. A secondary RN license for the other state must be obtained within 12 months of the hire date.)
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of clinical nursing experience is required.
  • Relevant supervisory experience required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within three (3) months of hire.
  • ACLS; ATLS; PALS; NRP certification required.
  • Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter for both Child and Dependent Adult Abuse training is required within six (6) months of hire.
  • Must be able to set and organize own work priorities and adapt to them as they change frequently.
  • Must be able to work concurrently on a variety of tasks/projects in an environment that may be stressful with individuals having diverse personalities and work styles.
  • Must be able to travel to the various MercyOne/Trinity Health sites as needed.
  • Must possess the ability to comply with MercyOne and Trinity Health policies and procedures.
