About The Position
Interim Director of Nursing (DON) – Immediate Start Beaumont Health Care Center 795 Lindbergh Dr, Beaumont, TX 77707 Immediate Opening | Interim Assignment | Skilled Nursing Beaumont Health Care Center is seeking an experienced Interim Director of Nursing (DON) who is available to step in immediately and provide strong, steady clinical leadership in our skilled nursing facility. This is a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground role ideal for a seasoned DON or ADON who thrives in fast-paced environments and can quickly assess, stabilize, and lead nursing operations while supporting staff and ensuring quality resident care.
Requirements
- Immediate availability to start
- Proven DON or ADON experience in a skilled nursing facility
- Strong knowledge of: State and federal regulations Survey readiness and compliance Staffing, scheduling, and clinical oversight
- Ability to lead, coach, and support nursing teams during transition
- Calm, confident leadership style with strong communication skills
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (required)
- Prior DON or ADON experience in a skilled nursing facility
- Strong clinical, regulatory, and leadership background
- Ability to step in quickly and make an immediate impact
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day oversight of nursing services
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and clinical standards
- Support staffing needs, scheduling, and clinical coverage
- Lead and mentor nursing leadership and floor staff
- Maintain survey readiness and address any clinical risk areas
- Collaborate with facility leadership to ensure continuity of care
