About The Position
Interim Controller – Sage Intacct Implementation Expertise Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is seeking an experienced Interim Controller to support a leading Not-for-Profit Trade Association during a critical transition. This is a confidential engagement requiring strong technical and leadership skills. This position is ideal for a finance leader with hands-on experience in Sage Intacct implementation and a solid background in traditional controller responsibilities. You will play a key role in guiding the organization through its migration from Great Plains to Sage Intacct while ensuring financial integrity.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Sage Intacct implementation (required).
- Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a hybrid environment.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Great Plains (preferred but not required).
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Sage Intacct implementation, including testing, mapping, and go-live support.
- Oversee financial operations and provide review of monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Collaborate with a small, tenured accounting team (Accounting Manager + 2 staff accountants).
- Serve as a strategic advisor during a period of transition.
