POSITION SUMMARY: The Interface Specialist is responsible for the technical support of interfaces and system integration including Application to Application (A2A) and Business to Business interfaces (B2B). This position works closely with those we serve to troubleshoot and correct problems relating to interface and file transfer system functionality , assists with conversions to and implementations of software products, and develops interfaces to provide integration between systems as well as business partners internal and external to OSF HealthCare. The Interface Specialist is proactive in identifying Enterprise-wide application requirements and communicating solutions to Information Technology management. Participates in all phases of the system development life cycle. Top candidates will show programming, Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP), HL7, and Epic application experience
Requirements
- High School/GED
- Must have at least one certification in area of discipline within 18 months of hire. Certification could be obtained through internally provided training. Certifications must be maintained.
- 1 year work experience with using information technology
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

- Associate's Degree in related field
