About The Position

Adaugeo Healthcare Solutions, an Interpath Laboratory company, is seeking an IT Interface Developer to join our passionate team. The interface team member is responsible for building, maintaining and supporting a variety of Interoperability interfaces including HL7, XML, ASTM, and X12. Duties will include workflow analysis, requirements gathering, interface assessments, build, design, testing, documentation, and on-call support. Daily interaction with technical staff in clinical areas managed by LIS Build Teams, Laboratory, and vendors, etc. is ongoing and an essential part of the job. Pay: Starts at $90,000 annually (commensurate with experience) Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, or equivalent interface development experience is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years in Interoperability related experience.
  • Experience in IRIS and/or Cloverleaf applications is greatly desired.
  • Knowledge of HL7 and database schema fundaments is preferred.
  • Experience with XML, VPN, FTP, or SQL is also desirable.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in InterSystems IRIS for Health
  • hands-on experience and a strong understanding of InterSystems IRIS for Health, including its application in healthcare data integration, interoperability, and application development. The ideal candidate should demonstrate proficiency in building, managing, and optimizing healthcare solutions using this platform, with a focus on HL7/FHIR standards, database management, and real-time data processing.

Responsibilities

  • Fix/enhance existing interfaces, transforms, tasks, and jobs per the request
  • Build new interfaces per the request
  • Work with users to understand and document requirements
  • Test the artifacts based on requirements and works with the team to roll them out to Production
  • Manage tasks and dependencies to deliver requests within a given timeline
  • Understand organization specific clinical, laboratory, and business workflows, and data models to effectively enhance existing work products
  • Analyze and resolve complex interfaces, interoperability, job secure ftp tasks, and data schema issues with minimal supervision
  • Develop, test, maintain, and support Intersystem IRIS, Integration engine components, and Secure FTP as part of an enterprise interoperability implementation team. Ensure all steps of change management are followed and maintained.
  • Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of problems
  • Perform on-call as required
