About The Position

Step into a high-impact role where your leadership transforms centre performance during critical moments. As an Intensive Support Partner , you’ll lead in challenging environments, stabilise performance, uplift capability, and guide centres back on track—ensuring children, families and teams thrive with quality, safety and consistency. This role requires an Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) qualification to enable working in ratio if required, along with sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF).

Requirements

  • Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) qualification, with ability to work in ratio
  • Proven experience as a Centre Director with strong performance turnaround capability
  • Demonstrated success leading teams through operational, pedagogical and business improvement
  • Strong business acumen across all domains of centre performance
  • Experience developing and delivering action plans to uplift centre outcomes
  • Skilled in building capability, coaching diverse teams and supporting multi-site environments
  • Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQF and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Ability to build trust, influence and collaborate at all levels
  • Current Working with Children Check, Police Check and Open Driver’s Licence

Responsibilities

  • Act as Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor when deployed to centres requiring intensive support
  • Identify priority challenges and focus areas in partnership with State Performance Leads
  • Lead the development and execution of centre action plans to drive immediate performance uplift
  • Build capability, confidence and accountability within Centre Leadership Teams
  • Engage state and national expert services to strengthen practice and operational performance
  • Empower centre teams by recognising strengths and supporting skill development
  • Provide observational insights to State Managers and State Performance Leads to inform ongoing capability building
  • Strengthen leadership in others through coaching, reflective practice and adaptive leadership
  • Address safety, risk and compliance issues and embed a strong safety culture across the centre
  • Support adherence to policies, procedures and regulatory requirements, ensuring high-quality and safe environments for children
