About The Position

EDNI Counseling Services is an exciting and fast-growing behavioral and mental health organization in Northern New Jersey. Our organization is designed to provide short-term Intensive In-Community (IIC) counseling to help youth and their families learn and develop positive, effective, strength-based, personalized skills to live a healthy and productive life. Provide Intensive In-Community/In-Home services for youth and their families in Northern New Jersey. Clinicians will also help youth and their families develop effective coping, communication, and social skills through evidence-based practices. Provide assistance and psychoeducation to youth and their families on their mental health and behavioral health needs. Clinicians will have the flexibility to set their own schedule, and work with as many youth and families as their schedules allow. All clinicians will receive ongoing clinical and administrative support and supervision. All clinicians are expected to maintain an open communication with all members of the Child Family Team (CFT), including but not limited to Behavioral Assistants, Care Managers, school administration, DCP&P, and other support systems. Clinicians will maintain a timely, up-to-date, electronic record of treatment and progress in a centralized database. Clinicians are also required to travel to different locations in New Jersey. We currently service the following NJ Counties: Passaic, Bergen, Hudson, Essex, Union, Monmouth, Ocean, Morris, and Sussex. Clinicians must be comfortable providing sessions in families' homes.

Requirements

  • Active NJ licensure in LSW, LAC, LCSW, or LPC (Required)
  • Valid NJ Driver’s license
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual Clinicians (Highly Preferred but not Required)
  • 1 year of minimum experience working in the mental health field (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide Intensive In-Community/In-Home services for youth and their families in Northern New Jersey.
