About The Position

Family Centers offers health, education and human services to children, adults, and families living in Lower Fairfield County. Our counseling and mental health services help individuals, groups, couples and families resolve a wide range of personal and relationship issues. All services are facilitated by trained mental health professionals and provided in our licensed and accredited centers located in Greenwich and Stamford. We are currently seeking a full-time licensed clinician to provide mental health services to clients in our NEW Primary Care Pediatric and Adult Health Medical Clinic in Greenwich, CT. The clinician will work closely with the primary health care team at this location to provide integrated behavioral health care leading to improved health outcomes for our clients. This is an in-person position. Clinician responsibilities include: Providing comprehensive assessments and psychotherapy to individuals (children and adults), families, couples, and groups in need of mental health treatment Identifying each client’s psychosocial needs utilizing the Social Determinants of Health and providing referrals and resources Collaborating and providing mental health consultation to medical staff, and leading workshops and trainings related to mental health. Requirements

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), LPC or LMFT in Connecticut, or the ability to obtain CT licensure
  • Experience working with a wide range of populations; Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred
  • Strong clinical skills and experience using evidence-based models with adults, children and families
  • Ability to engage in therapeutic practices in accordance with all HIPAA, state, federal, licensing, and accrediting bodies.
  • Knowledge and experience with electronic health records
  • Ability to work one evening per week.
