Eliot’s Homeless Services Division is seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Clinical Supervisor to assist with the Intensive Case Management services provided to individuals experiencing homelessness. The services deliver trauma-informed, solution-focused clinical care; while carrying an active caseload, supervising Housing First Coordinators, and partnering with multidisciplinary teams to support housing stabilization, behavioral health recovery, and crisis intervention. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, experience working with individuals impacted by homelessness and behavioral health challenges, and the ability to lead, support, and collaborate effectively within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary Housing First environment.

Requirements

  • Requires a Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, nursing or other closely related field. Independent licensure (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT) is required within the first 3 months of employment.
  • At least two years of experience working with unhoused individuals or families is preferred.
  • Strong assessment, treatment planning/implementation and organizational skills.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to create and organize effective administrative systems.
  • Maintain working knowledge of community resources - especially housing systems (Boston COC, Permanent, Project Based, Transitional Housing).

Responsibilities

  • Carry an active caseload and provide solution focused/ trauma informed care.
  • Work collaboratively with Persons served and assigned Housing First Coordinators to maximize health benefits and community-based resources.
  • Assessment and Support: Screen, assess, develop comprehensive assessments of individuals' physical, mental, and social needs, and collaborate with the team to develop personalized stabilization plans that reflect identified needs and treatment preferences of the person served.
  • Provide onboarding, ongoing guidance & support and weekly supervision to assigned Housing First Coordinators.
  • Collaborate with Housing First Coordinators on ICM Team in all phases of housing navigation and placement.
  • Intervene, and where necessary, mediate any dispute which may arise between the participant and the owner or manager of the subsidized unit in coordination with Eliot leadership.
  • Provide appropriate crisis intervention and de-escalation support as needed.
  • Collaboratively develop and operationalize a risk mitigation plan as applicable with person served and Eliot multidisciplinary team.
