Leidos is looking for a driven Intelligence Staff Officer / Exercise Support Specialist to help shape and build the MIDNITE Exercise Series—a cornerstone of AOC intelligence readiness—at Hurlburt Field in Fort Walton Beach, FL. This role is part of a major program supporting Air Combat Command’s ISR mission, and it offers the chance to influence how Airmen train, think, and fight. Individuals in these positions will use their extensive understanding of the AOC, the functions of an AOC, and intelligence processes to generate products necessary to replicate AOC interactions with ULI, DCGS, and AFTE personnel. They will facilitate exercise development for USAF personnel in core functions of Targeting, ISR Operations, and Analysis. Candidates must currently hold a current TS/SCI security clearance.

Requirements

  • Must have at least a TS/SCI security clearance to start
  • Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience. (Experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
  • All Source Intelligence analysis experience
  • Instructor Experience

Nice To Haves

  • Recent experience with AOC and ISR Operations
  • Additional relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exercise planning and technical support to facilitate ISRD participation in 200 and 300 level MIDNITE-Series Exercises, training, and readiness events
  • Facilitate interactions from ISR, Targeting, Unit Support, and Analysis, Correlation, and Fusion teams to support training audiences from AOC, Unit Level Intelligence, AF DCGS, and Targeting units
  • Prepare exercise materials, develop training exercises, and keep products up to date with any technology, system, or tool updates.
  • Provide technical support, assistance, and advice on ACC intelligence exercise matters at the Service, Joint, and IC levels
  • Identify, evaluate, and integrate applicable DoD, Service, and IC doctrine, TTPs into ACC and subordinate unit exercise development and training
  • Provide MAJCOM-level representation during drafting, review, edit, and staffing of intelligence policy and guidance documents related to the ACC exercise program.
  • Participate in, monitor, plan, and administer meetings, working groups, and other exercise planning forums to assist A2 in advocating, planning, and implementing MAJCOM, CAF, policy, doctrine, and TTPs
  • Ensure unit training objectives conform to AF and ACC exercise training objectives tied to mission-essential tasking list and training to proper standards.
  • Deliver pre-mission briefings and deliver academic testing during training events
