As an Intelligence Planner, you will use your specialized regional and functional experience and your attention to detail to assist in the development of campaign plans, deliberate planning, crisis management, and time-sensitive planning in accordance with the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters. You’ll employ your intelligence expertise and knowledge to assist in the integration of Defense and National intelligence support capabilities across the DoD. Mission areas for Intelligence Planner assistance include the development of campaign plans, deliberate planning, crisis management, and time-sensitive planning in accordance with the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES). You’ll work as part of an intelligence planning team and ensure intelligence equities are integrated into strategic and operational-level military planning or execution. You’ll provide intelligence support to campaign, contingency, and crisis planning, document intelligence resourcing gaps and shortfalls, and develop mitigation strategies. You will integrate intelligence products and services supporting the Joint Planning Process (JPP) and synchronize intelligence cycle supporting collection, analysis, production, and targeting in the JPP.
