About The Position

Responsible for monitoring Technical Operations Group diplomatic facility security video systems, intrusion detection systems, and imminent danger notification systems worldwide. Provides crisis and term intelligence analyses and assessments on international security incidents and issues, including video analysis products for security posture awareness and after-action review. Responsible for processing, handling, managing, and disseminating classified information. Supports a 24-hours, 7-days-a-week crisis contingency operations center. Presents complex and sensitive products using sophisticated security technology and software to a variety of senior decision makers and other executive audiences within the Department of State, the intelligence and law enforcement communities, and other government agencies. The Intelligence Analyst I is responsible for working with data throughout its lifecycle, including collection, management, analysis, reporting, and secure disposition, to support technical operations and reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • Current U.S. Government final Top Secret security clearance and approved for SCI access upon employment.
  • Eligible for and able to obtain and maintain required security clearance/access approvals.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two years of intelligence, counterintelligence, or law enforcement experience, or experience in a related security field.
  • Demonstrated experience working with data throughout its lifecycle, including collection, management, analysis, reporting, and secure disposition.
  • Detail-oriented and accountable for a high standard of precision in work product.
  • Motivated and able to work effectively and professionally in a demanding, time-sensitive, and often charged environment.
  • Positive attitude and ability to maintain individual skill sets.
  • Basic skills using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and able to learn new software as needed.
  • Shift work is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior military experience preferred; experience as a Marine Security Guard or duty in a watch/operations center is highly desirable.
  • College degree in a related intelligence or security field may be considered as a substitute for experience.
  • Geospatial imagery experience is a plus.
  • Experience with security video and alarm system software in a security/operations center environment is a plus.
  • Video analysis, editing, and production experience is also a plus.
