Moore & Van Allen PLLC, a dynamic and fast-growing full-service law firm of more than 400 attorneys and professionals, is seeking an Intellectual Property Patent Agent with IP focused background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science to join its Charlotte, NC office. The ideal candidate should possess, a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. We are particularly interested in applicants with expertise in areas such as network architecture, artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and cybersecurity. A graduate degree in one of these areas is a plus. Candidates must demonstrate excellent academic credentials, robust interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team. While registration with the Patent Bar is preferred, eligibility to sit for the Patent Bar examination is mandatory. Physical Requirements: The work is primarily sedentary. It requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing. The work requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. The work at times requires bending, squatting, and reaching, with the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull light weights.
