About The Position

Conduct legal support activities related to technology transactions, digital banking, intellectual property, cybersecurity, data privacy, AI, and emerging technologies Assist attorneys with patent docketing, administrative patent tasks, and database updates and queries Perform analytical work and legal research while staying abreast of new and changing regulatory and legal issues and industry initiatives Create, maintain, process, review, and track legal documentation and templates under direction of counsel Prepare reports and conduct administrative legal work, including project management and processing of billing matters Execute multiple and complex tasks, often under tight deadlines Consider process improvements, including responsible use of AI, to assist in the completion of job responsibilities Work closely with attorneys, team manager, and legal peers to complete assigned tasks

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of relevant industry experience, preferably with some experience working in a corporate legal department or law firm
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, timeliness, efficiency, responsiveness, and workload management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
  • Knowledge of legal customs and practices
  • Knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced and high-volume practice, prioritize competing demands, and problem solve creatively
  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience.

  • Experience with, or interest in, intellectual property preferred
