About The Position
Aligned Talent Acquisition partners with several respected mid-sized and boutique law firms throughout Chicago and the surrounding metro area that regularly hire Intellectual Property Litigation attorneys. This posting represents ongoing hiring needs across our client base as firms expand their IP litigation practices in technology, manufacturing, and life sciences. We’re connecting with attorneys in the 2–7 year range who have experience handling patent, trademark, or trade secret disputes.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school; technical degree (EE, ME, CS, or Chemistry) preferred
- Illinois bar admission required or pending
- 2–7 years of IP litigation experience
- Excellent writing and analytical skills
Responsibilities
- Manage IP litigation matters from discovery through trial
- Draft pleadings, motions, and claim construction briefs
- Coordinate with technical experts and in-house counsel
- Support partners in strategy, trial preparation, and client communication
