About The Position
Parsons is looking for a talented Intel Analyst/Translator to join our team! In this role you will get to provide translation of scientific and technical source material in support of a dynamic DoD mission.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen and possess an ACTIVE TS/SCI clearance and be willing/able to obtain and maintain a CI Polygraph
- Bachelors Degree and 8+ years' of technical translation experience
- ILRT Level 2 or above in Russian, Chinese, Korean, or Farsi (measured via DLPT or equivalent language test)
- Minimum three (3) yeas of transcription experience in Russian, Chinese, Korean, or Farsi
Nice To Haves
- Prior military or federal contractor linguist experience
- Understanding of air defense and radar theory/principles
Responsibilities
- Collaborate in a multi-faceted team supporting DOD mission with foreign language translation assistance
- Translate, in writing, original source information, including communicating an equivalent sentiment and meaning of the source information to fully convey the objective and meaning
