About The Position

Skyway Behavioral Health (“SBH”) is an innovative behavioral health center that goes beyond the treatment of psychiatric symptoms to address underlying biological, behavioral, and psychosocial causes of psychiatric disorders. Our belief is that maladaptive coping strategies are adopted by patients for survival. Role Description The Integration Therapist reports directly to the Program Manager and is an integral member of the PHP/IOP treatment team and the Spravato team. The Integration Therapist serves as a main point of contact for patients receiving neuromodulation treatment. Furthermore, the Integration Therapist at SBH encounters a diverse array of patients and clinical needs. Someone successful in this role will exhibit strong interpersonal skills, creative problem solving, empathy, and passion for improving the lives of SBH patients. This position also fulfills a collaborative role for Therapists within their department who seek to broaden their clinical knowledge.

Requirements

Completion of a graduate or doctorate degree (MA, MS, PhD, or PsyD)
Must be licensed (LPC, LSW, LCPC, LCSW, Licensed Clinical Psychologist)
Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience working with trauma, ideally including CPTSD, developmental trauma, and dissociation.
Familiarity or training in somatic therapies (e.g., Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing, Hakomi, or IFS with somatic focus).
Willingness to engage in ongoing supervision or consultation specific to psychedelic-assisted work.
Exceptional organization skills, reliable and timely.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
Clinical proficiency in treatment, diagnosis, and documentation.
An ability to work flexible staffing schedules, including days and evenings.
Reliable form of transportation to work.
Proficiency in Microsoft products (Word, Outlook, Excel), and familiarity with use of EHR systems.

Nice To Haves

Clinical experience with trauma treatment, eating disorders and/or mood and anxiety disorders.
A problem-solving orientation and eagerness to identify process gaps and implement practical solutions.
2 or more years of experience in a clinical or health care setting.
Ability to work independently as needed yet recognize the need for support and demonstrate the willingness to ask for help.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond with confidence during challenging or chaotic situations.

Responsibilities

Provides “On the floor” staff support, milieu containment and direction, and community support.
Coordinates program coverage with integration team where gaps are present.
Serves as an advisor and provides counsel to Therapists and other Skyway staff in need of guidance and/or validation of approaches to neuromodulation treatment.
May participate in the interview and screening process for hiring new Integration Therapists and other clinical positions if needed.
Effectively manages and navigates crisis situations in accordance with company protocol.
Maintains knowledge of current legal status of psychedelic medicines and ethical guidelines for working in this emerging field.
Demonstrated clinical experience or personal/professional engagement with altered states, transpersonal psychology, somatic practices, or related frameworks.
A willingness to develop an ability to support clients in integrating psychedelic experiences into daily life, using evidence-based and culturally sensitive approaches.
Leads post-treatment integration pods and delivers therapeutic guidance to clients receiving neuromodulation services.
Commitment to cultural humility, social justice, and inclusive therapeutic practices.
Demonstrated commitment to self-awareness, emotional regulation, and personal growth—especially as it relates to the therapist’s own relationship to non-ordinary states.
May provide coverage of neuromodulation department staffing and client care needs, including but not limited to administration of medication and monitoring of client vitals.
Demonstrates ability to build rapport with patients and engage patients in recommended level of care and treatments.
As clinically indicated, provide comprehensive and ongoing clinical assessment and comprehensive risk assessment.
Holds a caseload of individual PHP/IOP clients on assigned program track.
Leads and co-leads PHP/IOP groups as assigned by program manager.
Understands that hours spent supporting assigned PHP/IOP track may flex up/down as needed. Spravato duties will remain priority.
Completes progress notes in a timely fashion.
Coordinates case consultation with outside providers/treatment teams.
Presents clinical information and contributes to patient care at team meetings.
Establishes and maintains effective communications and working relationships within a multidisciplinary team.
Supports SBH marketing and business development initiatives, including but not limited to speaking engagements, networking, and industry events.
Participates in weekly supervisions and quarterly trainings as needed.
Collaborates with Leadership in creating and sustaining a culture of compassion and healing.
Follows policies and procedures to accomplish departmental and organizational initiatives.
Ensures compliance with all applicable local, state, federal regulations, and guidelines.
Maintains completion of all competencies associated with role and in accordance with Skyway Behavioral Health policies and subsequent Joint Commission standards.
Performs other job duties as assigned.
