About The Position

The Integration Specialist will perform technical planning, quoting, and system clarifications to assist internal and external customers in developing accurate engineered solutions for communication and technology systems. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Perform all levels of system support, including concept, design, testing, installation, operation, and maintenance of analog/digital radio systems, IP networks, wireless broadband, and satellite and cellular systems. Complete project documentation to ensure seamless Tier-1 technical support. Prepare specialized materials such as manuals, wiring diagrams, and system test procedures. Ensure all engineered systems meet customer specifications, relevant engineering standards, and internal quality requirements. Consult with engineering teams regarding specifications that impact form, fit, or function. Provide technical support for customer inquiries and troubleshooting scenarios. Support field activities and trade shows with up to 10% travel. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • A Technical Associate of Science degree in Electronics, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is highly preferred; however, four years of applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of two years of experience building and testing electronic systems is required.
  • Candidates must have a strong understanding of AC/DC electronic circuits and low-voltage electrical work
  • Experience with RF products such as analyzers, switches, and antennas
  • The ability to troubleshoot computer hardware including PCs and servers.
  • Candidates should be able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Be capable of working both independently and collaboratively.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting SCADA systems
  • Notification and public address systems
  • Radio systems including Motorola, Kenwood, and MACOM
  • IP networks including router and switch configuration and strong knowledge of TCP/IP
  • Wireless broadband technologies such as Cambium, Firetide, Cisco, and Ubiquiti or similar systems.
