About The Position

EOTSS is seeking an Integration Services Intern to join a collaborative team of engineers and business analysts supporting enterprise integration platforms used by multiple agencies and external partners. This internship offers hands-on experience in enterprise application support, production troubleshooting, requirements gathering, analysis, and technical documentation. The intern will contribute to the ongoing operation and enhancement of: A statewide Managed File Transfer (MFT) platform An enterprise Online Report Viewing solution API Services that enable secure data exchange between applications The intern will work under the guidance of senior engineers and analysts and gain exposure to both operational support and project-based initiatives. The primary work location for this role will be at 200 Arlington Street, Chelsea, Massachusetts 02150. The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. This position would be expected to follow a hybrid model of reporting to work that combines in-office workdays and work from home days as needed. The Summer Internship Program is a 10-week paid opportunity running through June 1 through August 7. To be eligible, applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university or be a recent graduate (May 2026 graduation date). All offers of employment into this position are conditional and subject to passing: a Massachusetts Criminal Background Check (CORI); a security clearance (fingerprinting) consistent with IRS and/or public safety requirements; and security training.

• Basic understanding of APIs (REST/SOAP concepts), file transfer protocols (SFTP/FTPS), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)

Responsibilities

• Support the administration and ongoing improvement of enterprise integration platforms (MFT, Online Report Viewing, and API Services)
• Assist with onboarding new customers by gathering and documenting requirements, performing configuration tasks, and supporting customer testing
• Troubleshoot and help resolve customer-reported issues
• Collaborate with engineers and business analysts to deliver secure and reliable solutions
• Participate in daily operational support and project work as needed
