About The Position

The Integration Engineer serves as a cross-functional technical lead responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of both application and infrastructure readiness during clinic-to-hospital conversions and denovo private clinic growth initiatives. This role ensures that clinical applications, networking, telecom, and end-user devices are fully operational and aligned. This involves the planning, coordination, and execution of both application and infrastructure readiness to guarantee that all systems, networking, telecom, and end-user devices are fully operational for a successful go-live. Willingness to travel onsite for clinic openings and conversions as required. Travel frequency varies based on project complexity and the integration team rotation. Essential Functions Technical Readiness & Implementation End-to-End Coordination: Support technical readiness for clinic conversions by managing both application and infrastructure components. Application Lifecycle: Coordinate EMR and supporting clinical applications to ensure proper configuration, access, and readiness. Third-Party Platforms: Assist in standing up clinic accounts in third-party systems, including patient communication, scheduling, and referral platforms. Testing & Cutover: Support comprehensive application testing, validation, and cutover activities. Infrastructure & Connectivity Network & Security: Lead readiness activities for enterprise networking, including LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, and connectivity. Circuit Provisioning: Coordinate circuit provisioning and carrier turn-ups as required by project timelines. Telecom & Voice: Ensure telecom readiness, including call routing and call center validation. Hardware Readiness: Guarantee the operational status of all end-user devices, including workstations, printers, and clinical peripherals. Project Leadership & Support Onsite Execution: Provide onsite technical support during select clinic openings and conversions based on project risk. Real-Time Troubleshooting: Resolve application, network, or device issues in real time during go-live events. Risk Mitigation: Identify technical risks across applications and infrastructure and support the development of mitigation plans. Documentation: Maintain accurate updates within the project run book and serve as a technical escalation point.

Requirements

  • Healthcare IT: Proven experience supporting healthcare environments, specifically integrating applications with infrastructure.
  • EMR Proficiency: Working knowledge of EMR systems and their direct integration into clinical workflows.
  • Networking Fundamentals: Strong grasp of enterprise networking (LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls) and platforms such as Cisco, Meraki, or Fortinet.
  • Systems Support: Familiarity with telecom systems and comprehensive end-user device support
  • Vendor Management: Ability to coordinate multiple third-party vendors and internal stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills in high-impact, fast-paced environments.
  • Project Oversight: Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining clear documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Window-based applications.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Must have demonstrated skill in prioritizing daily responsibilities and crises to handle a heavy workload.
  • Must be able to work successfully in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Network certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
  • Prior exposure to EMR go-live events, healthcare integrations, or large-scale growth initiatives.
