Job Summary: The Integration and Test Engineer plays a critical role in supporting 2 NWS mission-critical operations. This role involves integrating hardware and software components, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position ensures mission success by leveraging technical expertise, coordinating between cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all operational and mission objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace or a related technical field required, or combination of experience and education.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in system integration and testing
  • Clearance Requirement: Secret (Required)
  • Strong technical background with experience in mission-critical environments.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and mission management software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination across teams.
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure and during high-stress mission events.

Nice To Haves

  • Top Secret (Desired)
  • CompTIA Security+ (IAT Level II) certification.
  • Experience working in a DoD, aerospace, or defense industry environment.
  • Experience with OCX software.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute mission objectives in alignment with 2 NWS mission operation needs.
  • Conduct integration and regression testing to ensure seamless operation of hardware and software components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and sustainment, to ensure mission readiness and efficiency.
  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and support root cause analysis.
  • Work closely with design, software, and hardware teams to identify and resolve integration challenges.
  • Provide technical support for customer demonstrations, field testing, and operational deployment.
