About The Position

Supports functional management and oversight of all systems within the ITW/AA (AN/USQ-249 weapon system). The ITW/AA Subject Matter Expert serves as a Missile Warning, Correlation and over-all ITW/AA mission SME for the USSF CFC S10 Director, providing operational analysis and support to United States Space Force. The position is part of the Operations Division Contractor Support role, advising the S10N Division Chief and S10 Director of Operational impacts, current and future capabilities by developing briefings, background papers, position papers. This Selectee will support development of responses to General Officer "requests for Information (RFI's) and review architectural, policy and guidance documents. The ITW/AA SME will periodically assist with requirements development and reviews. Clearence: Able to obtain TS/SCI, Daily handling of Classified Information/Material is Mandatory.

Requirements

  • Extensive system knowledge of Missile Warning ground and space systems, including Mobile/Transportable Systems.
  • Direct experience with ITW/AA, GSM, and NC3 operations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration and relationship management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for technical and management reporting.
  • Ability to handle and safeguard Secret & Top Secret classified information.

Responsibilities

  • Advise the CFC/S10N Operations Division Chief and CFC S10 Director of current & future impacts to ITW/AA operations, with additional analysis on Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3) benefits/regrets.
  • Assist in supporting the USSF Future Force Design, by explaining inter-relationships of multiple ITW/AA systems and networks.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and develop recommendations to resolve highly complex operational problems in: Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) Global Sensor Management (GSM) Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3)
  • Provides updates daily/weekly/ as needed; on 22 weapon systems and space acquisition programs for the weekly Battle Rhythm events such as the Director's Update Brief, Operational Briefings & Senior Leader meetings.
  • Prepare and present technical and management documentation using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel on multiple platforms (NIPR, SIPR & JWICS)
  • Maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
