About The Position

CTI, a Parsons Company, is seeking a talented Tactical Communications SME to join our team. In this role, you will provide expertise in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET), Tactical Data Links (TDL), Tactical Radios, Tactical Assault Kit (TAK), and TAK Server support for the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Agency. You will be responsible for remotely managing the Agency’s TAK Servers and will be part of a team delivering 24/7 technical and integration support.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have an ACTIVE Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 10+ years of related professional experience; additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Experience managing TAK Server capabilities in an enterprise network environment
  • Domain administrator and SCCM experience managing Windows and Linux
  • DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Sites & Services
  • Experience with virtual services such as VMware vSphere, VSAN, and ESXi
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in hardware administration, installation, implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Windows/RHEL administrator certifications, and AWS or other cloud administrative certifications

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience migrating from on-premises to cloud environments
  • Experience working in an Agile environment with continuous development practices
  • Security Clearance Requirement: An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain ICE’s cloud-based TAK Server environments
  • Assist with planning and executing network and server upgrades and expansions
  • Collaborate with ICE engineering and technical staff to ensure seamless integration of hardware, software, and firmware across network solutions
  • Install, configure, operate, and maintain cloud infrastructure, software, and related systems
  • Configure and manage operating systems (Windows and Linux), applications (commercial and government), networks (IP addressing, subnets, etc.), and network hardware
  • Configure and manage distributed authentication services
  • Ensure system hardware, operating systems, and software comply with government policies and procedures
  • Assist in developing and maintaining network security policies, standards, and monitoring capabilities
  • Implement and maintain backup operations, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans
  • Manage cloud-based services such as DNS, digital certificates, storage solutions (SAN/NAS), IP-based video, phone, camera services, and network-connected end-user workstations
  • Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as needed
  • Support and manage other IT services as required
