About The Position

We are looking for hard working Cultivation Technicians at our Perris, California location

Requirements

2+ years of horticultural experience in a commercial cannabis facility a plus
Certified pesticide applicator is a plus...should be able to certify in CA within 4-6 months of employment
Experience in the fundamentals of plant biology is a plus
Extensive knowledge of pest and disease identification
Experience with cultivation and IPM systems and the implementation of those systems
Experience in the management and implementation of standardized horticulture processes
Experience with the handling and application of pesticides, Bio-pesticides and be familiar with predatory control methods.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
Demonstrated ability to communicate to all levels within an organization, particularly senior management
High ethical standards
Must be 21+ years old
Must pass all required background screening

Responsibilities

Must be able to spray
Performs other duties as assigned
Will collaborate with agronomist on daily/weekly/monthly objective
Must be able and qualified to handle pesticides
Ability to lift/ maneuver heavy objects (25–100+ lbs).
Wear a full Tvex suit for ex tended periods of time throughout the day (4+ hours a day).
Wear a full face respirator for extended periods of time throughout the day. (4+ hours a day).
Work in a temperature-controlled room with a warm to hot environment and high humidity e.g. 70-85 degrees and 50-95% relative humidity, and Co2 at 1500ppm.
Climbing 15+ feet and working on a 3 layer scaffold.
Extending periods of walking and standing throughout entire shift
Performs other duties as assigned.
