This Position reports to: Engineering Manager - Integrated Motor Drives (IMD) As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your skills by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities. The work model for the role is onsite in Greenville, South Carolina. Please note that no relocation assistance or stipend will be offered for this position. Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the office location. Candidates are expected to manage their own commuting arrangements. You will be mainly accountable for: Support IMD lab activities by continuing build-out of lab setups and demonstrators. Integrate customer fan applications to broaden application test capabilities. Support customer issue resolution and application questions to enable new business development. Strengthen product documentation with improved manuals, drawings, and user guides. Contribute to new product development through validation test and documentation activities. Coordinate with lab leadership and personnel as well as product line leaders in integrated motor drive product group.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in the United States.
• Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
• Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.
