Integrated Modular Avionics Engineering Manager Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company Integrated Modular Avionics team is seeking a highly talented First-Line Engineering Manager (Level K) to join the team in Everett, WA . Position Overview: In this role, the manager will lead a dynamic team of engineers in the development, validation, verification, integration, and certification of the Integrated Modular Avionics System. The manager will also support maintenance and customer service for in-service airplanes. This role emphasizes engineering quality and meeting our commitments, while fostering a collaborative, safe, and engaging team environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • 2+ years of experience in leadership or management role.
  • Ability to travel for business as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the development, integration, and verification of aircraft systems.
  • Knowledge of FAA certification processes and safety analysis.
  • Experience with qualification testing or lab testing.
  • Familiarity with engineering processes and methods.
  • Proven track record managing risks and issues to resolution.

  • Lead initiatives to enhance engineering processes and products, fostering a culture of innovation and proactive problem-solving.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and certification processes through effective oversight of technical approaches and products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and global teams to facilitate effective communication.
  • Promote a culture of safety and quality, encouraging team members to raise concerns and suggest improvements.
