About The Position

The Integrated Behavioral Health Manager is responsible for supervising and managing the Integrated Care Coordinators while also assisting with managing the Behavioral Health Consultants. They also will be expected to keep a patient care day allowing them to continue to serve our clients in the health centers and work with other internal and external resources in meeting/achieving client service needs.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Behavioral Health field, required
  • Independent licensure in Behavioral Health field, required
  • Minimum of one (1) to five (5) years of behavioral health experience, required
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience with using an Electronic Health Record (EMR) system
  • Strong time management skills
  • Knowledge of Arizona Department of Health Services requirements
  • Thorough knowledge of current versions of DSM and ICD
  • Ability to support, train, and supervise a team of coordinators
  • Ability to provide effective and respectful quality care and services that are responsive to diverse cultural beliefs and practices
  • Valid Arizona driver's license
  • Certification to perform cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for the Health Care Professional (CPR) and AED through courses that follow the guidelines from the American Heart Association and Red Cross (cognitive and skills evaluations)
  • Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety for all specialty behavioral health locations

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with State AHCCCS and Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) clients, preferred
  • Experience in clinical supervision highly preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
  • Experience with community resources and agencies, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Participate as the primary source of support and training for the Integrated Care Coordinators while also supporting the Senior Integrated Health Manager in the training of Behavioral Health Consultants
  • Provide oversight and clinical supervision to Integrated Care Coordinators including case reviews, one on one and group support, chart sign off and mid/annual reviews.
  • Participate in regular interdisciplinary staff meetings.
  • Help Integrated Care Coordinators develop appropriate service delivery skills with providers and clients as the means for implementing applicable services and developing effective alliances with clients.
  • Assist Senior Integrated Health Manager with tracking of data, including the generation of reports that will allow follow-through on quality of care.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships in the community.
  • Provide direct client services to individuals and/or family members. Services provided may include care coordination, skills training, health promotion, crisis intervention, arrangement of transportation, supportive employment services, and others depending on client need. Services may be provided in office, home, school, or community settings, as needed.
  • Provide on-going supportive and/or technician functions in accordance with the problems, needs and the strategies identified by the client or the provider to assist the client to achieve whole health.
  • Provide clinical supervision with the staff on a regular basis. Ensures staff are comfortable and confident in education/health promotion strategies and allows for staff to share experience and resources. The frequency of supervision will be determined by BHT Clinical Supervisor.
  • Document all service contacts on a timely basis including face-to-face interviews, collateral and networking contacts, correspondence and maintains the case records in accordance with internal and regulatory standards requirements.
  • Maintain close communication with the consulting physician and the Behavioral Health team for input regarding PRAPARE, Self-Management Goals (SMGs), referrals, intervention strategies and coping skills and alerts integrated care team of any changes in client adjustment which might suggest decompensation and a need for more aggressive intervention.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Behavioral Health leadership team, which are consistent with the position and in compliance with Adelante Healthcare policies and procedures.
