Requirements

Valid Utah CLINICAL LICENSE authorized to practice in Utah REQUIRED.
Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check & drug screen
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high customer service / interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively prioritize workflow (triage)

Nice To Haves

Preferred (1) year of experience working in a psych inpatient setting and detox preferred, but NOT REQUIRED

Responsibilities

Provide safety plans and resources for patients
Handle inbound calls for the hospital's primary intake line, and route calls internally when necessary
Review hospital-to-hospital transfer requests and staff with on-call psychiatrist for admission.
Collaborate with admissions & nursing teams regarding incoming admissions.
Escalate transfer declines to direct supervisor or administrator on call.
Actively encourage and maintain the hospital's waitlist for admissions
Coordinate telehealth requests from contracted hospitals to dispatch on-call telecrisis team for behavioral health assessments.
Schedule patients for the hospital's outpatient services.
