Your Mission in Action The Intake Placement Coordinator is responsible for managing and completing the intake process for every youth who enters the TFC Programs. The intake process consists of completing all initial intake paperwork and transporting minors to foster homes. This position will not be responsible for a Case Management caseload.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in social work , Human Services, or closely related fiel
One (1) year of relevant experience
Ability to establish rapport, trust, and boundaries with children, parents, and families
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people
The ability to compassion and empathy while dealing with stressful and difficult situations
The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a group
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage a heavy caseload and meet deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in social work , Human Services, or a closely related field
Five ( 5 ) years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

Monitor ORR Intake emails and assess acceptance of minors into the program
Review ORR Intake email information with foster parents
Coordinate the placement of minors with third-party transport company
Complete the initial intake process, including transporting minors to foster homes
Complete Preliminary Service Plan (PSP) within 72 hours of UC placement
Coordinate any identified and immediate needs for minors through community-based services
Transport youths to and from the facility or foster home setting as
Review and complete the placement packet with foster parents and UC
Work in collaboration with leadership and the People and Culture Team to arrange training; when needed, coordinate and/or provide in-service training for staff development
Regularly review employee performance, including goals and progress, to provide developmental feedback: use applicable agency development tools to facilitate growth and development in staff
Draft and issue the 90-day and annual evaluations, along with supporting documentation, as per established procedures; work in collaboration with staff to set goals during evaluation periods
