Intake Enrollment Pharmacy Technician Representative
About The Position
This position involves the data entry of new enrollments, locating all eligibility lines for patients, and resolving rejected pharmacy claims. The role requires documenting the steps taken in the enrollment process for each patient in pharmacy operation systems. You will submit eligibility requests through available portals to find insurance coverage information for new enrollments. Troubleshooting pharmacy claims and resolving rejections for both new and refill patients is also part of the job. Collaboration with teams in Admissions and within the pharmacy, as well as other business partners, is essential to expedite the referral process.

- Illinois Pharmacy Technician License required and must be up to date
- Minimum of 1-3 years of pharmacy tech experience, preferably from a specialty pharmacy
- 1+ years of experience in pharmacy-related data entry
- 1+ years of submitting pharmacy claims and resolving rejections
- Knowledge of medical insurance
- Ability to multitask
- Capability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to type 40 WPM and maintain accuracy

Responsibilities
- Enter patient enrollment information into pharmacy operation systems.
